01Products
Short chains of amino acids joined by peptide bonds, supplied as reference materials and experimental tools for laboratory research.
Laboratory research use only: analytical work, method development, and controlled experiments. Not for human or animal use, and not a medicine, food, or cosmetic. See our compliance statement.
A lyophilised (freeze-dried) solid in a sealed vial. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic or sterile water in the lab before use. See the reconstitution calculator.
Peptides are supplied by net mass, not by visible volume. Lyophilised material is extremely light and porous, so a correctly filled vial can look nearly empty.
The actual mass of the target peptide, excluding residual solvents, salts, or counter-ions.
By solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS): amino acids are assembled one at a time on a resin, then the chain is cleaved, purified by HPLC, and freeze-dried into the vial you receive.
02Testing and certificates
Yes. Batches are tested by an independent laboratory for identity and purity by HPLC and mass spectrometry.
Yes. Every published lot’s certificate is searchable by its lot code on the verify page, including batches that failed our specification and were destroyed.
The proportion of the target peptide relative to related compounds and synthesis by-products, measured by HPLC.
No. These are research reagents and are not validated against clinical thresholds. Researchers assess suitability for their own work.
03Ordering
Bank transfer and cryptocurrency. No card details are taken on the site. For crypto you’re shown a payment page to complete the transaction on-chain; for bank transfer we email the details. Either way, we dispatch once payment is confirmed.
Once payment is received and confirmed. Orders paid by bank transfer or crypto are held as pending until funds clear.
Only before dispatch. Contact us with your order number as soon as possible; once an order enters dispatch it can’t be changed.
Check your spam or junk folder first. If it’s not there, contact us with your details and we’ll resend it.
Bulk pricing is applied automatically by quantity on every product, and promotions run periodically. They apply at checkout, not retroactively. See bulk pricing.
Our materials are supplied for laboratory use by researchers, institutions and organisations equipped to handle reference chemicals. At checkout you confirm that you are ordering in that capacity and that the material will not be used in humans or animals. We do not supply for personal use, and orders that indicate personal use are cancelled and refunded. See our research-use policy.
No, there’s no minimum order. Bulk discounts apply automatically as the quantity increases.
We use your details only to process, ship, and support your order. See our privacy policy for the full detail.
04Shipping
All orders are dispatched from the UK.
Orders placed before 3pm on a working day, with payment confirmed, are dispatched the same day; otherwise the next working day. See shipping and dispatch.
Vials ship in insulated, protective outer packaging suited to short UK transit. The outer label carries the delivery address and our return details. Compound names and quantities are on the inner documentation and the vial label, not on the outside of the parcel.
Yes. Tracking details are emailed once your order is dispatched.
Orders over £100 ship free. Below that, a flat rate is shown at checkout.
05Customs
We deliver within the United Kingdom only, covering England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We do not ship overseas, so please do not place an order for an address outside the UK.
The recipient. Duties and taxes are set by the destination country and are outside our control.
No. All shipments are declared accurately in line with regulations.
06Delivery and returns
Check your tracking first. If it’s still unresolved, contact us with your order number and we’ll open an investigation.
Check with others at the address and your local depot, then contact us. We investigate before any reship to prevent duplicate fulfilment.
Because these are research materials, returns generally aren’t accepted once an order is dispatched. Faulty or incorrect items are handled case by case. See returns.
07Storage and handling
Keep the lyophilised powder at -20°C, protected from light. Refrigerate reconstituted material at 2–8°C and use it within its stability window. Per-compound guidance is on each product page.
In the laboratory, let the sealed vial reach room temperature, then add sterile water down the inner wall of the vial and swirl gently until the cake dissolves. Work out the volume for your target concentration with the reconstitution calculator, using the net peptide content from the lot certificate rather than the gross fill weight. Split the stock into single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw. For laboratory research use only.
08Bulk
Yes. Volume discounts apply automatically as you add more vials, shown on every product and in the basket. For larger quantities, contact us.
