About Kisspeptin-10
- Residues
- 10
- Molecular weight
- 1302.4 g/mol
- CAS number
- 374675-21-5
Kisspeptin-10 is the C-terminal decapeptide of the KISS1 gene product and the minimal fragment that fully activates the receptor KISS1R (formerly GPR54). It is a standard tool for studying the reproductive neuroendocrine axis, where kisspeptin signalling sits upstream of gonadotropin-releasing-hormone neurons in animal models.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
