BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic, stabilised pentadecapeptide whose 15-residue sequence is derived from a partial sequence of a protein found in human gastric juice. In preclinical research models it is studied for interactions with nitric-oxide (NO) signalling and angiogenic growth-factor pathways such as VEGFR2, and for effects on fibroblast and endothelial cell migration. It is a linear peptide of standard L-amino acids with free N- and C-termini.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
