KPV is the linear tripeptide L-lysyl-L-prolyl-L-valine, corresponding to the C-terminal fragment (residues 11–13) of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). In in-vitro research it is studied for uptake via the peptide transporter PepT1 in intestinal epithelial and immune cells and for interaction with NF-κB-associated signalling.

For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
